Water Purification Systems under “Water for Schools Program”

Projects for setting up Water Purification Systems under the Water for Schools program

  1. Global Water Challenge (GWC) provided funding to Jaldhaara Foundation’s Water for Schools program in Telangana.
    This was one of the first projects to be launched with the GWC grants under the Water for Schools program. Jaldhaara Foundation installed a Water Treatment Plant at Government Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) Nagaram, Ranga Reddy District of Telangana State. This plant has been operational since 6th February 2016 and provides safe drinking water to over 1095 school children as well as around 30 staff members.
    Project under this partnership adhered to the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act(FCRA).

  2. JRD Tata Trusts partnered with Jaldhaara Foundation for their Water for Schools program in Telangana.
    Jaldhaara has partnered with JRD Tata Trusts for their Water for Schools initiative, where they had set up a water treatment plant at the Government Mandal Parishad Primary School (MPPS) situated in IDA Bollaram, Jinnaram Mandal, Medak District. It has been operational since 16th June 2014 and caters to 860 students.
